heart rate

What is the normal heart rate for a 30 year-old man? My rate has been 117-137 beats per minute and up.
A resting heart rate in the range of 117-137 is excessive. The usual rate is in the 60 to 80 beats per minute range, depending upon physical conditioning. Frequent causes for an are fever, acute illness and anxiety. Other, more serious causes, include anemia, an excess of thyroid hormone (hyperthyroidism), heart defects or disease, and abnormal connections between arteries and veins.

You should not assume your condition is normal or insignificant without an appropriate medical evaluation.
